Abstract
This webinar will present the WPL framework (Watch Play learn) that educators can use to teach STEM to early learners (Pre-K through Grade 2). WPL utilizes a 15-20 minutes educational episode (PBS Kids) that children can see individually or as part of class, followed by a hands-on playful activity through which they can practice the skills they learned from the episode. After this webinar, attendees will not only have access to some ready-to-apply idea sheets to teach different STEM topics to early learners using WPL framework, but they will also get some tips and tricks to quickly put together their own customized instructional materials to accommodate their unique classroom needs, based ont his framework.
